If you need a driver for the second van I can help you with that. Right to my storage. 😂

Congrats man on the new steed. 🙏🏽🤙

Thank you! I can't wait to ride a stock 4RR again.
You can take it on a road trip after you get through the break in period. You could come my way and we could ride up to Tahoe if the snows melted by then.

Wow, I don't hate that!

The Pastel White paint on my Vanagon is still original from West Germany in 1986. Not sure I could ever stray from it.

The thought of showing up to a track day in the Mystery Machine that matches my bike would require a rider that could back that up! 🤣

You could have it wrapped so you could roll in the new color, but still have the original paint when it’s time to go back. Then when you roll to the track you just have to bring your A-game. ;)

Still at 0 miles, just enjoying looking at it a lot. Rain here so no way to go take it for a spin.

This bike from my youth is the ruler by which I measure this 4RR retro tribute. The 1991 ZX-7R K1.

If the 4RR had a pink Ninja on the tank and black number plates on the tail and black accents on the upper, I would have really been stoked...but I still very much love it the way it is.

So cool to have both of those. 😎
Would be very interested to hear your thoughts on how they compare.

Other than the color scheme they should be the samewhen stock.

So far, I've found only 1 physical difference and 1 specification difference between the 2023 ZX-4RR KRT (ZX400SP) & the 2024 ZX-4RR 40th Anniversary (ZX400SR).

The 2024 40th (ZX400SR) does not have the "Immobilizer Lamp" option listed in the configuration menu on the cluster. Looks like it was removed and it was not active on the 2023 KRT (ZX400SP) anyways for USA bikes so it's not really a material change.

The ignition timing specs for the 2023 KRT and 2024 40th differ, but they are calling out timing at different rpms so who knows...it's not an apples/apples comparison. Maybe once @vcyclenut gets his hands on my 2024 40th ECU, he will be able to see if the stock timing is identical to the 2023 KRT.

2023 KRT (ZX400SP): 10 degrees BTDC @ 1000 r/min (rpm) - 38 degrees BTDC @ 6500 r/min (rpm)
2024 40th (ZX400SR): 0 degrees BTDC @ 1400 r/min (rpm) - 38 degrees BTDC @ 6500 r/min (rpm)
