ELS Carbon/Kevlar radiator screen is finally here.

It's got a cool asymmetrical pattern which I like. Lightweight and indestructible, it's also way easier to wipe clean than the metal ones.

Here's the metal one I took off. Let's compare weights.

The ELS screen is 40% lighter than the metal one. Let's mount it up with a few zip ties. You can use bolts but there's no need.

They are manufactured and shipped out of Arizona, if you order today it should ship on Monday.

You can call them up and chat if you have any questions, they're awesome customer service wise.

Anyone who wants my old metal one can have it for free, but you have to pick it up. I won't ship since it costs more to ship than buy new.

Took a short ride today and the Kawasaki "Sport Seat" feels way better than what the bike comes with.

It's firmer, and has a grippier vinyl covering. I didn't think it would be this noticeable but it was a big change.

First time getting the bike out in the sun with the carbon bits I just added. I like the theme and will continue it I guess.

The Carbon Variosi front winglet from Webike came with no instructions, and didn't fit up well to the bike.

Using a heat gun I shaped it to fit without rubbing any painted fairings. Then I used a file to allow the factory fasteners to be retained.

Didn't have to use a hammer but used all my other moves to get this mounted up.

It kinda goes well with the direction towards a carbon fiber theme my bike has taken.

If it rips off at speed, then it wasn't meant to be! [emoji1787]

If it came with directions they would have been in Japanese anyways. ドゥユウなうジャパニーズ?

This $29 Amazon rear seat cowl is way lighter (almost 13 oz less) than the Kawasaki one.

It doesn't come with the $2 11057-2879 bracket needed at the rear though.

I already had the Kawi one installed, so the Amazon cover just popped in place. This will let me preserve the expensive Kawasaki one for down the road while enjoying a bit of weight savings as the bike continues its diet.

Kawasaki on the left, Amazon on the right.

Amazon one doesn't have the "Ninja" script, the rubber pad is molded into the cover and is hard plastic, and there is no metal bracket mount underneath.

I'm really digging the carbon look that has emerged

More to come as stuff arrives

Looking like a fully modded ZX10RR. 🥰
Those Moriwaki frame plugs are they pop in plugs or all threaded to the frame?
They look really nice and that gaping hole on the frame looks really bad when everything around them are top notch. 👍

The friction fit ones on my ZRX have been in for years without ever falling out.

And they are a looser fit than the Moriwaki ones for the 4R. You'll see when you install them. They are going to be very hard to remove after you pop them in.

The ZRX plugs had to have a threaded hole added so you could put a long bolt in it to pull it off.
