That's weird agree they do usually mention it in the service manual, but that internal sales flyer that came out definitely states they're there.

Looks like they're in the collector unfortunately, so going to need a full pipe to really uncork it.
Odd, interesting - missed that detail in the flyer, thanks for showing me!

But yeah, pretty odd to have them there, but not fully unexpected. I've seen a few Kaws where they are integrated inside there. Some of the older ZX-10Rs had them in there but those were easy enough to punch out. My old neighbors H2 SX had one large one in the collector but we cut the pipe off, drilled it out with a hole saw kit and fitted a MTQ link pipe between the stock header and the Kawi Akra canister to eliminate his. God that sucked, took a few hours to do properly. When I got my H2 SX, I said "F it" and just bought a full system for mine because that was a job I wasn't going to do twice! 🤣

I don't think this bike has a cat, let alone three of them.

Usually in the service manuals they will reference this in the few opening pages, as well as identify them further on. Below are samples from the 2016 ZX-10R.

Then it will show the location of the cats:

I don't see either section in the ZX-4R service manual.
