Woo woo, exciting! Do the riding modes still work - Road, Rain? Also High and Low power, KTRC 1,2,3 for Rider mode?

yes, you loose no functionality with the flash ( great job woolich racing!)

Im updating the fueling in low power but leaving the throttle and ignition timing maps as stock
Now that's the way it should have been right off the showroom floor

Thanks!

the dynamics of the bike even in normal riding is. insanely improved.
The stock fuel maps and timing were very close to correct, other than the percent throttle restriction above 11,500?
This is what I have heard from others that have seen it on the dyno.
Is your opinion similar?
no, not really

I guess if your only going to look at full throttle fueling in the upper rpm's

but thats a really narrow focus to make such a broad statement

look at my you tube video for ecu deep dive I show where there are several degrees of timing restrictions and look at my video of first data logging ride and look at some of the corrections made

there is so much more in a good flash than just full throttle best power tuning, honestly thats the easy part. There are only 3 things that effect power output

throttle opening, ignition timing and fueling tables

in the upper rpm it wants 100% throttle so that easy, just set them to 100% ( do that at too low of an rpm and the bike makes less power)

the ignition timing I take away an obvious restrictions like I talk about in the video

for fueling i get the air fuel curve flat then I make it 1% richer and check if it makes more or less power. I do this till i find the best air fuel for peak power

then I add a degree of timing across a rev range and see if it makes more or less power until i find optimum timing for each rpm

it takes a while but thats all there is to it, anyone could get there if they have the patience and use a sound testing method

its all the part throttle ignition timing, throttle mapping, fueling, decleration tables and quick shifter settings that really are what make a good bike great and what takes experience and knowledge to get the best results

sorry for the long winded reply I just dont like blanket statements like that when there is so much more to tuning then 100% throttle. The people that get my tune will feel the work and effort I put into tuning the whole rpm and throttle range

Waiting for your results on the Graves exhaust! I'm on the wait list, no idea of how long.

A well rounded "whole" package is indeed way more complex and time consuming to nail down.

That's why I'd rather pay someone else than do it myself! I don't have the time, patience, or dedication to do it. A few hundred bucks to get access to someone else who does is a bargain (for me).

I contemplated getting the Woolich tuning setup but I'm honest enough with myself to know I don't have the patience to get my money's worth out of it.

Pm me if you want to go that route, ill give you a $25 discount off of the flash if you want to do a flash combo deal

250 version
250 version

im going to be fully testing the yoshimura 250 version exhaust, after that id like to stick to exhausts made for the 400 after that unless someone sends me the exhaust to test

Good to know.
Are you testing the shorty exhaust or full length?
I've got the shorty exhaust in stainless.
Will you be keeping the tune on file specific for the Yoshi?

Thanks

It's the R77s full titanium.

Links not working for me but that's not what I've got.
It's the Hepta SS Yoshi I was asking about.
Either way the tune will be fine. 👍
