Will be interesting to see what can be carried over from the 25R to the 4R as well as the 4R to the 400. I have a 400 as well so it's going to be a few late nights in the shop taking stuff off and seeing what fits haha.

What other modifications and/or accessories are you getting? Upgrading your riding gear as well?
Will mostly be playing it by ear. Definitely an exhaust (Akra full system if available) as well as a tuning kit to tune the ECU. Suspension will be in short order too. You?

Riding gear, I'm good on. Have stuff bought the last few seasons and my leathers are still hanging up as I haven't had too much time to attend track days let alone racing competitively anymore.

Rearsets is one of the main things I’ll be wondering about. I’ll want to switch to GP shift but based on the images, it doesn’t look like just 180 rotating the gear selector is an option. So a rearset where the lever pivot is flipped may be the solution…will have to make it work with the quickshifter too (I’d assume you can just flip it?).

@Trey On Two very few bikes you can't just rotate the knuckle and if Team Green has introduced this as an entry level "track" bike , I'm sure they have in mind many will want to have "GP" shift pattern, so hopefully it won't be a problem. one of those things not to stress about as we don't have the bike yet !

I almost ordered the official radiator guard, but I think I will wait until the bike is sitting in my garage.
I know - it's an emotional pain seeing parts come in for a bike you haven't even seen yet.

But good news, the radiator guard arrived today. Baby steps!

Also the sport seat is available on Kawi's website. I ordered that a few days ago as well.

We'll get there soon!

Had to run to the mailbox to pick up a toy I ordered for my dog, yes, he is impatient like his father...

When I came back in, snagged some photos of the guard.

All wrapped up:
Grass Automotive lighting Bag Font Motor vehicle

Back of packaging:

Close up of part number for those interested:

Page 1 of install directions:

The guard itself:

Nice embossed logo, nice touch so it won't come off with use like other methods:
Font Mesh Automotive exterior Automotive tire Wood

Install looks to be near identical to many guards on the 400 - I've only ever installed one, so I can't say for every version out there. I do know it is identical to the Evotech Performance one I have on my 400.

Feels sturdy in the hand, obviously has some flex to it, but that's to be expected not being mounted up. Didn't check if it was stainless or what, but I'm willing to bet it is. Too heavy to be aluminum. Don't have a scale in the garage so I couldn't weigh it - didn't think of doing it either. Didn't put the caliper or mic on it to get a thickness but it's in line with guards from say Cox and others.

What did you pay for that guard by chance?
It looks quite different than what we have for the N400.
Yours looks like it would flow more air but at the sacrifice of the smaller stones and debris getting past.

Nice purchases so far. 👍

At some point I'll be ordering the passenger seat cowl, but I wish there was a better explanation on the Kawasaki site on the differences between the stock seat and the "sport" seat.
Yes, I've read the description, but that really doesn't tell me much.

Yeah, didn't think about that... may switch to Cox when they come out with something. But until they get a bike, that may be some time. In the meantime, the OEM will have to do and I can't be bothered (e.g., don't have the time) to go to Home Depot and get some chicken wire or bulk anodized mesh to make my own. Even then, still don't have the bike to make/take measurements. Hah!
