WOW

  • The consistent lap times, even through traffic
  • That little scream increase while falling onto the tire edges
  • So much lean angle

10/10

So having them autographed by an abrasive jerk adds value? :p
Send the other one to me, and I will throw my John Hancock on it for you! :D
He is a great rider, but came off as a prima donna while stateside.
Definitely more comfortable in Moto GP paddock than Motoamerica.
I did agree with several points he made about racing in the U.S. in general, but his on camera demeanor sucked.

I keep looking at them, but I've never seen them offered any larger than 47s. :(

Having them autographed by a MotoGP race winner and factory rider adds value! Sadly it did not make me any faster lol

But yes I agree with all your other points. I always liked him in MotoGP and pretty much everyone in the GP paddock seemed to as well. He was always a humble guy in interviews. But when he came to MA it's like he changed into a different person. I think he just didn't like the way MA was ran, maybe the team (heard quite a few negative things about Warhorse HSBK), and maybe he also thought he'd be running away with the championship from the beginning, but instead got spanked by Gagne race after race. He was nice in person when I asked him to sign my boot at PittRace, but we talked for like 15 seconds only....even made him bend over to sign it as I was wearing the boots when he did! lol

Yes I did I tried to remove as much weight as possible and I was dragging the pegs so didn’t want to take a chance with the kickstand. Plus it’s a couple pounds lol

Not bad for a slow guy right! Once it’s built sub 20s is definitely possible!

good to know, did you have to do anything with the sidestand switch so that the bike didnt think the kickstand was down?

Yes you just have to connect the two wires together to create a circuit. I used a soldering iron and soldered them together then put heat shrink around it and tape just to be safe. Woodcraft makes the plug for $15 which I’ll upgrade to once I do another order of parts

Just jerking your chain, with some self-depreciating BS thrown in.
I liked/currently like Danilo in Moto GP too.
I think he felt immense pressure on him to win from Ducati/Warhorse and in combination with a completely new environment, he cracked.
They expected him to come in and dominate Motoamerica superbike.
The U.S. just doesn't take roadracing as seriously as Europe or the rest of the world. He didn't seem to understand that.
I like Petrucci better than the current guy riding the Ducati superbike.
Josh H is one of the best pure talent riders I have ever witnessed, and was super nice in person on the few occasions I met him.
Some of the post race interviews and social media he puts out? Wow.
