That GPZ550 is SWEET !!! (y)
I used to think about doing a 550 or GPZ750 like that. - that's a keeper for sure...

...but if you decide to sell it, let me know. :)
Thanks! In addition to the obvious stuff it has a built 592 Moriwaki motor, w/cams and ported head, police forks, police/KZ1300 wheels, and I think you can make out from the picture; a Cal Fab swingarm. It runs pretty strong for a little GPZ, will actually pull the front end up a little in first. Not for sale at the moment...but nothing stays in the garage forever. Except the ZRX. Can't part with that!

I figured it might have some motor work based on the carbs. 😁

I love the ELRs, but they are now out of my price range. So...I've got this ELR replica GPZ550 and a couple ZRXs. What can I say, I like green! View attachment 148 View attachment 149
Beautiful bikes you have there and well built.
Nice to see you not take the traditional route and keep it stock. 👍

That ZRX is 🥰🤤
Triple pot front calipers and many extras that go well with each other. Very nicely done sir. 🙏🏽

I can remember getting my first bike a '73 Kawi KZ400 and took the first few months owning it rebuilding it back to new condition and then ride the snot out of it.
Best beginners bike ever and even though it wasn't a sport bike like Inwanted at that time in the early 80's I still squid out on it. 😂🤷🏼‍♂️
Below is how she looked after all the work. Trust me it didn't look like that when Ingot her and back then there was no internet only motorcycle junk yards where I sourced most of my parts. Anybody remember those. 😂

I do like a well built oldie and both of your bikes are magnificent. Good job. 👍

Thank you for the compliments! I tend to like the restomods as when I was young I would buy every aftermarket item I could find for my bikes. Of course money was scarce so that usually meant a used, dented up Kerker or whatnot. We had a couple of cycle salvage places that were a blast to scour! My first Kawi was a 1975 Z1 that I had in my senior year. It was bruised up a bit, but still ran like gangbusters!
