I'm an older computer guy who's always been interested in bikes but never made good on it until my retirement. Instead I did car stuff. A year ago I took a riding course, got licensed and bought a Yamaha R3 to practice on. I've since added a Ninja 1000SX for longer trips and carrying a passenger. Both bikes are great for what they are, but the idea of a small I4 really appeals to me in the same way my Miata's do -- good handling, and enough power to be quick if you're willing to work for it, but slow if you're a lazy rider. A joy to run up and down the gears. Hoping it'll be a bike that really rewards proper technique in the mountains while keeping the overall speeds down to fit the roads I have available. I think many others here see it the same.

Anyways, I'm 2nd in line at my local dealer for an -RR KRT and keen to get going.

Like so many here we are all having to be patient for aftermarket support too as well as performance upgrading because who likes to keep things stock, no?

@Hikari indeed I've been pestering Trevor @bbykawasaki about ZX4 news and rumours since spring of 2021. They had someone else put the first deposit down in the summer/fall of 2022 -- wonder if that person will join up here? I put mine down early Jan this year. They suggested to me they might be getting 4 bikes initially, but weren't sure. Probably more will be coming later in the year. As of mid Feb they apparently had 7 deposits lined up, so you and I should be looking good.

Atlantic Canada is getting 4 total, so 4 for 1 dealer would be pretty decent!

Hey guys, just joined and am from GVA area, specifically Surrey. I ordered my ZX-4RR from Maple Ridge Kawasaki on February 7 putting down deposit and they told me ETA is first week of May and if lucky then April. How about you guys in the local area?

Heard the same thing for Alberta. Could be mid April if shipped early by Kawasaki.

I paid a visit to my Kawi dealer and they're still expecting shipment by this months end. 🤨🤔
Most are saying April with a better likely hood for May.

Interesting @misnblu, my dealer hinted that a few ZX-4RRs would be in the states by the end of March.

I dropped by my dealer today to get accessories on order. Some accessories are already in stock (ie sport seat). They're still estimating the bikes to arrive late April or sometime in May. Seems to be similar to what you've been told, @Demonekin.

Even the top salesman I spoke with today at the Kawi dealership said he too put money down on one and was excited about this bike like non other.

Yeah for sure exciting. I been on a 2019 r3 and was about to upgrade to an R7 but when this ZX-4RR was confirmed I quickly dropped that order and put money down on the ZX-4RR

Hi from delta bc just put a deposit down for the r. Said I was 2nd in line for that one and only 1 more left for deposit and the rrs are all spoken for. Told hopefully it will be in by end of April
