Wonder how many back roomso kawi gave graves a promo bike to make parts for? thought graves was more ties in with yamaha![]()
Spark is a good choice too, wanted to use them on my N400, but I already had the Akra system in house for it before I had the bike from a customer that backed out of it.@ME-Motorsports I'm not that sold/buying into that clip for the time being, I'll be going with yosh race force unless spark comes up with something as I'm a dist for them
I was wondering the same how Graves is the only one with a seemingly fully tuned bike and has a can already on the bike. 🤔so kawi gave graves a promo bike to make parts for? thought graves was more ties in with yamaha![]()
Graves was where the word of reduced power for the US spec bikes started, a day or two after the official release.so kawi gave graves a promo bike to make parts for? thought graves was more ties in with yamaha![]()
I guarantee there are other companies besides Graves that have received bikes for R&D work. I've had Akrapovic systems on many bikes, starting with my '98 R1. That would be my choice, but the Graves may get the nod depending on who comes out with product, when.I was wondering the same how Graves is the only one with a seemingly fully tuned bike and has a can already on the bike. 🤔
I can't deny it would be nice to have it sound that good but all in time. We need bikes first. 😉
I really hope so as this platform will be for seemingly serious bike owners suited for the track. 🤞I guarantee there are other companies besides Graves that have received bikes for R&D work. Thanks I was about to pull the audio track into sound analysis program.Comparing pitches to a few ZX25R vids, the revs are topping out near 16k it sounds like. Spicy!
I had no idea audacity could do that, how? Super cool. Other thoughts: The gearing sounds on point, as does the quickshifter too. I also agree with the others in that a full Akra would be my first choice. I’m just dying for more content on these bikes.Did it anyway: 16,110 rpms per Audacity spectrum analysis.
Trim audio to 100ms of the highest rpm sound. Select all, Analyze -> Plot Spectrum. It showed 537 Hz as a huge spike. For inline-4 engines, Hz * 60 / 2 = revs.I had no idea audacity could do that, how?
Speaking on shifting and the up down quick shifter nobody has mentioned if we will get GP shift and if it's going to be an easy process to do ourselves.I had no idea audacity could do that, how? Graves touched on that in the radiator guard thread:Speaking on shifting and the up down quick shifter nobody has mentioned if we will get GP shift and if it's going to be an easy process to do ourselves.
I've already got 2 bikes with GP shift and first ride is going to be strange in the 4RR unless it's changed to GP 🤪🫣
This will require a hardware change. The sensor voltage output is low in one direction and high in the other. Solutions are on the way
Yeah I read that but did not comprehend what he was saying.Graves touched on that in the radiator guard thread:

I just saw the single seat cowl is sold out or unavailable, did anyone scoop one up yet?www.zx4rforum.com
Probably, with low rotating mass and no other loss than driveline, i bet it easily got there.did he really spin that rear tire to 160 on the dyno
