That is exactly how it hooked me. I liked the little 250 so much I imported a bike from Japan. What a blast !Hi all,
Been riding my Ninja 400 for about 2 years now, but honestly been ready for the zx4r to come out ever since I saw a video of the zx25r scream.
Got a deposit down and can't wait to ride rip this thing on track!
Yeah, if they didn't come out with the 4r here this year was strongly considering doing the same! That is exactly how it hooked me. I liked the little 250 so much I imported a bike from Japan. What a blast !
We got 3 coming in (3 separate boxes ;-),,,,, did you roll the dice and send yours complete? if so,,brave man. That is exactly how it hooked me. I liked the little 250 so much I imported a bike from Japan. What a blast !
This guy, this is the guy that imports them, I've read about you ...We got 3 coming in (3 separate boxes ;-),,,,, did you roll the dice and send yours complete? if so,,brave man.
There is no wink/nudge with any govt. agency esp. the USCBP. Non-Comp vehicles is almost impossible, incredibly risky and can become expensive rather quickly when things go egg shaped. Just not worth it.I've read about the process of importing non exempt vehicles. If I remember correctly it sounded like you need a letter from the manufacturer stating its for race use only and can't ever be registered, even after 25 years old. Does that resemble the process or was it more of a wink - nudge thing?
We only import "used motorcycle parts" Cant really speak for the clients and what they do with 'all the parts'....So the ZX25R that you import, they are all track only? (Ignoring anyone that may slap their Ninja 400 license plate on it to "ride around the block" ...)
Christ what happened to that thing?!We bought a damaged ZX25RR with @400 miles on the clock, we will be parting it out, if someone wants a project, parts are readily available in Japan used and new, some assembly required. @5K

There is no way to tell once it's at a dealer auction,,besides, if there was, they would lie anyway.Christ what happened to that thing?!
Never seen a triple clamp tore down the middle like that, but it's even weirder as it looks like the forks and wheel are fine from the side profile shot!
