Welcome! Which classes will your race org allow them with? I’m in CMRA and will be able to run it in Formula 2 and D Supersport/Superbike. These classes include RS660/R7/SV/etc.

I currently race “up” my ninja 400 into those classes as well, so will be nice to have some more power to reel in those bikes. This past weekend there was only one R7 I couldn’t catch, he took 1st in every race.

I race with WERA and it's D Superstock/Superbike right now. I currently run in E and F Superstock, so it would still be 4 races in a weekend for me.

Classes might change by 2024, based on how well the ZX4RR does. :D
In D superstock and superbike, it's on par with the RS660 and R7 so I'm not expecting classes to get changed. Under Superstock rules, the RS660 is arguably the better bike since it's making 20hp more and I don't think the ZX4 will get close to that without a motor build. The R7 is in the same boat though. But I don't want a twin so that's why I'm going with the ZX4. My region only has a few RS660s anyway and is mostly SV650s.

Definitely need to start a thread regarding this question.

I can't RTFRB apparently. D SS/SBK in WERA doesn't have twins like SV650s, R7s, and RS660s. 4 valve twins are limited to 600cc in D, so those bikes are all in LWT and F2. Referencing 2022 results in the SE region, D is mostly Ninja 400s bumping up one class and NSR250s, so the ZX4RR would probably dominate and not result in many exciting battles.
